1. About us

Opulent Kiddies ("we", "us", "our") operates the website at opulentkiddies.online and sells ready-to-wear and bespoke children's clothing. We are a business registered in Lagos, Nigeria. By using our site or placing an order, you ("you", "the customer") agree to these terms.

2. Accounts

• You must be 18 or older to create an account.
• You are responsible for keeping your password secure and for any activity under your account.
• You agree to provide accurate information (name, email, addresses, child measurements) and keep it up to date.
• We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms, attempt fraud, or behave abusively toward our team.

3. Orders

Placing an order is an offer to buy. We confirm the order by email — at that point a contract forms between us. For bespoke orders, the contract forms when you accept the price quote and pay the deposit.

We reserve the right to refuse any order — for example, if a product is mis-priced, out of stock, or if we suspect fraud. If we refuse an order you've already paid for, you'll receive a full refund within 5 working days.

4. Prices & payment

• All prices are in Nigerian Naira (₦) and include VAT at the current statutory rate (7.5%).
• We accept payment by card (Visa, Mastercard, Verve), bank transfer, and wallet credit. All orders are paid in full before dispatch; we do not offer pay-on-delivery.
• Bespoke orders require a deposit (typically 50%) before production begins. The balance is due before delivery.
• Prices may change at any time; the price you see at checkout is the price you pay for that order.

5. Bespoke orders

Bespoke pieces are cut to one specific child's measurements and design choices. By placing a bespoke order you confirm:

• The measurements you provided are accurate to within ±1 cm
• The design choices (fabric, silhouette, neckline, sleeve, etc.) are final once production begins
• You accept that bespoke pieces are generally not returnable — see our Returns policy
• You accept the quoted production timeline, which may be 7–21 working days depending on complexity

You may cancel a bespoke order for a full refund before production begins. Once cutting starts, the deposit is forfeit; we'll refund any portion of the balance not yet spent on materials and labour.

6. Delivery & risk

Delivery times are stated in our Delivery policy and are estimates. We're not liable for delays caused by couriers, weather, public holidays, or events outside our control.

Risk of loss passes to you on delivery. Title to the piece passes to you when we've received payment in full.

7. Returns & refunds

Our full returns policy is at /returns and forms part of these terms. In summary:

• Ready-to-wear pieces: 7-day return window, unworn, with tags
• Bespoke pieces: generally final-sale, except for defects or our errors

8. Intellectual property

All content on opulentkiddies.online — logos, brand marks, photography, written content, the 3D design studio software, product designs — is the property of Opulent Kiddies and protected by Nigerian and international copyright. You may not copy, reproduce, or use any of it commercially without our written permission.

Where you submit content to us (reference images for a bespoke order, photos uploaded with a review), you grant us a non-exclusive licence to use it for the purpose of fulfilling your order or, in the case of public reviews, displaying it on the site.

9. Your conduct

You agree not to:

• Use the site for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any account, server, or system
• Interfere with the operation of the site (scraping, DDoS, automated abuse)
• Misrepresent your identity or impersonate another person
• Resell our pieces commercially without a separate written agreement

10. Promotions & discount codes

• One code per order unless otherwise stated
• Codes are non-transferable and have no cash value
• We reserve the right to cancel codes used in breach of their terms or in connection with suspected fraud
• Codes may not apply to bespoke pieces, sale items, or gift cards

11. Limitation of liability

Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot be limited by law (death, personal injury, fraud).

Subject to that, our total liability to you for any one order is limited to the price you paid for that order. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses — for example, missed events, lost earnings, or hurt feelings — arising from a delivery delay or product fault.

12. Privacy

Your use of the site is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes what data we collect and how we handle it under the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023.

13. Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. We'll update the "Last updated" date at the top. Material changes will be emailed to account holders at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the site after the change date means you accept the new terms.

14. Governing law & disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Any dispute will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Lagos State.

Before going to court, please contact us — almost every dispute can be sorted with a single email or WhatsApp message.
